(He/Him/His) Steve Shannon has taught music and theater full time in the Abington Public School system for the last 28 years, and has music directed shows at Stonehill, Massasoit, Bridgewater State and The Company Theatre. In addition to music directing, Steve is an active performer on stage. Favorite roles over the years include  Dan in Next To Normal, Wilbur in Hairspray, Leo Bloom (twice) in The Producers, Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace, Fr. Flynn in Doubt, Harry in Company, Zach in A Chorus Line, Frankie in Forever Plaid as well as many other musicals and concerts including Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy and Songs For a New World.  In 2006, he performed in Overture Productions award-winning On the 20th Century starring Alice Ripley at the Emerson Majestic Theater in Boston
